Rugged is the description befitting most men with beard. However, it can also make one look more like a hermit if the beard growth is out of control all over the face. Hence, men must regularly trim their beards using various beard trimming tools like a Braun beard trimmer to make the beard look neater. However, obtaining a perfectly trimmed beard can be very challenging. As such, this article aims to equip men with information on beard growth and how to achieve a neat looking beard.
A man’s beard starts to grow and develop during the puberty age, and this is because of the stimulation of the hair follicles in the area by dihydrotestosterone which is a male sex hormone or also called the androgen. This androgen is also responsible for the hair growth even after puberty. The secretion of the level of the dihydrotestosterone may vary with season, thus beard growth is faster during the summer. The facial hair or the beard is also the fastest growing hair on a man’s body, and it would only take about five weeks to have a full grown beard.
A beard is considered in some cultures as a matter of pride while in some communities, it is commonly referred to as a social stigma. But when did the growth of beard become popular? In the biblical times, the Jews grow beard as a sign of profound respect for God. On the other hand, in ancient Egypt, the highest ranking Egyptians wore a growth of beard as a sign of sovereignty, while Ancient Indians allowed beard to grow as a symbol of dignity and wisdom. Likewise, in Ancient Greece, Greeks regarded beards as a badge or sign of virility. In the modern times, a growth of beard has been made more popular during the 1850s when many leaders and leading statesmen like Napoleon III, Charles Dickens, and Karl Marx began sporting long beards. Today, beard growth is considered a fashion trend with the endless beard trimming styles and beard trimming tools such as Braun beard trimmers now available.
Facial hairs can be trimmed and styled in various ways. Before trimming the beard, men should first select the method they prefer in trimming it. These methods may either be through shaving, trimming, waxing, or by clipping. Then, they may start their grooming regimen which should begin by cleaning beard. This is accomplished by first rinsing the facial hair with water followed by the application of shampoo and other facial hair care products. It should then be dried clean before trimming to avoid the shrinking effect. Then it can groomed using the trimming method chosen and shaped with the various beard styles. Men must just make sure that the beard style they use not only complements their personality but would be comfortable for them.
With all the beard trimming tools available in the market, men can choose the ideal device for them. However, other men prefer trimming their beards with scissors. In choosing scissors it is important to use a barber’s scissors because it allows close trim and it gets a very accurate beard trim. Other men on the other hand who dislike using scissors can have the option of using a beard trimmer that offers different features and settings that help men to easily control their beard’s length. Men could choose from the different beard trimmers available in the market and the noteworthy brands are the Philips and Braun beard trimmers. Mirror and comb are essential in doing a beard trim.

Regardless of these regards for beard growing, men who wish to grow their beard must make sure to follow grooming techniques and use beard trimming tools such as Braun beard trimmers to ensure a well-groomed, symmetrical, and nicely shaped beard.

Dealing With Jeans That Shrink After Washing

Some jeans when washed the first time have the possibility to shrink. This is because the textile used were not the pre-sunk type, textiles that was shrunk before they were used in manufacturing the jeans.
Pre-sunk treatment is of no use if the materials used are the one which are called thermoplastic. Thermoplastic materials can shrink when heat is applied like when you wash at high temperature. An example of this material is polyester which is also very common material in textile industry and in jeans making.
Even stretchable jeans which are common these days can still shrink. If you cannot fit your favorite jeans anymore, do not conclude immediately that you have gained weight because it might be that your jeans shrunk. This shows that even stretchable jeans do shrink.
Your jeans can also shrink even if the materials used are pre-sunk. This can happen if you used too much spinning at high temperature when you are drying your jeans. Some jeans would even shrink to its half size if you accidentally use the highest temperature setting in drying up your jeans.
But if you buy pre-shrunk jeans it is better because if you take care of them they won’t shrink and you will enjoy wearing your favorite jeans for long.
Maybe you think that if your jeans is made from cotton, shrinkage can be avoided, it is not true because cotton shrinks as well. Not because of heat but when they become wet.
As much as possible you should avoid things that can result to the shrinkage of your denims. But if you already made a mess, a simple remedy can be done like lining you jeans to stretch them back to their brand new form
In conclusion, the best way to keep you jeans in the same size even after many several washes is to use cold wash setting in the washing machine. They might shrink but only very slightly that it is even unnoticeable.

Why Men Are So Confusing to Women

In my years of talking with and helping women, one question that just about every woman has asked me relates to what makes men tick and how they can understand men better. Most women aren’t taught how men really think and what men really want, and this leaves women in our society perplexed and confused.
It’s no wonder that men confuse women at all. The fact of the matter is that the male brain actually operates extremely differently from the female brain, creating a perplexing situation for women. This concept has been popular ever since a certain best selling book was published in the 90s, and it isn’t any less true today.
Before a woman can stop being confused by men, she has to get a primer on how a man’s brain works. It can be a hard fact to accept at first, but it is vital to successfully understanding men. The main thing to keep in mind when learning the male brain is that his thought process is in fact different from your own!
These differences are most evident when examining the differences in male and female conversations. Ever noticed how when women get together, they tend to talk about guys and what they want in a relationship? Women have this idea of finding their dream man and settling down.
On the other hand, not very many men talk about those things. Instead, most men take sort of a passive attitude when it comes to their love life, just cruising by and going after whatever shiny object happens to be in their life at the moment. They don’t put a whole lot of emotional time or investment into pondering love or their relationships.
It’s pretty obvious that most guys are not all that into discussing deeply emotional things with their buddies. Instead, “guy talk” usually consists of seemingly shallow conquests and goals.
No, men are simply different from women! And once you accept and understand male psychology, you can work with it rather than just ending up confused about it time after time.
Here’s a little tip to help you understand the male thought process even better. What goes on “behind the scenes” is that men are often taught to shelter or hide their emotions, especially when it comes to women. Men want to act “tough”, and this takes its toll on their psychology. Instead of basing their actions on forward thinking, men often react to things emotionally, but then try to “cover up” their emotional actions with reasoning that appears logical, but is really just twisted rationalization. This is why men do very confusing things and then lie about it.
Despite all this, if you can break a man’s armor and connect with the soft spot held within, you get to join an elite group of women who actually understand men, despite their confusing ways. As a result, you will enjoy greater success and be able to attract the type of men that you want to attract. Healthy relationships are a key ingredient to happiness, so learning to understand men is definitely worth the effort.
